All bicycles are given to the school and are owned by the school, not the children. This assures that many generations of students will benefit from each bike. They are used by the students to get to and from school only. They are not used by other family members or other students. They are not used to run errands or chores. The purpose of the bicycle is to help make their education more attainable. In collaboration with the school, here are the three main criteria for who receives a bicycle:

1) The students who travel the longest distance to school have priority.

2) The students who are working the hardest and achieving the best academically have priority.

3) Girls have priority over boys. Girls have more pressure from society and are more likely to drop out of school than boys.
